Campers will go through fundamental Baseball Training stations. These stations will be both offensive and defensive stations. Each station will give the instructor flexibility to ensure that players from beginner to advanced levels are equally developed in a fun, competitive environment.
- Possible defensive stations include: Fielding technique, Fly ball technique, run-downs, cut-offs and relays, Baseball 101 Talk, Throwing competition, among others.
- Possible offensive stations include: Tee drills, front toss drills, fastball machine, curveball machine, base running, bunt technique etc.
Our goal is that players will be able to remember at least one new instruction or skill every time they go to a fundamental station.
Position-Specific Training (Tuesday, Thursday):
During Position-Specific-Training, campers will get extended time periods working with coaches on position training. Players will choose two position groups they want to focus on: catching, pitching, corner infield, middle infield, outfield. There will be three rounds of rotations. Two defensive rotations and one hitting rotation.
Our goal is that players will learn fundamentals of the position group they choose, as well as learn and remember at least two drills they can do on their own with little to no assistance.
